Solar Low or no cost up front

 We have heard about companies that will install a solar system on your home and then lease you the system so you have little or no up front cost. I have even seen ads on this website making that claim, but checked and they are still not ready for sales.

  Recently I talked to 2 friends who have worked in the solar PV business for quite a few years and they now work for www.solarcity.com who does just that. You can buy, lease or have them install a system and you just pay for the power you use. It's less than your power company and they won't raise the rates.

   They install American made solar panels from Evergreen solar ESLR , one of my favorites since they are US made and the lowest carbon footprint of any panels.

  They even all have clean company cars, the prius and even clean company trucks using the sprinter damiler vans. I was so impressed I applied for a job with the company. I haven't heard anything yet but you never know.  

   Also as you may have heard the Federal tax credit got extended for 8 more years. Even better it's a full 30% with no $2,000 residential credit limit like it used to have.  This makes solar even more affordable for many people. I already installed my own system back in 2001, it paid for itself and is good for 40 or more years. I love renrewable energy.
