my Laugh Lines
Dear Francine,
Wow, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your thorough and informative reply, as always! You have so much knowledge and the info is very valuable. I will absolutely consider what you have said here, and will take proper measures. I'm looking forward to visiting your site for the F.O.S. line! That is simply great to hear. And I will consider the flexeffect site you recommended. Why haven't I seen or heard of you and your products on the tv and radio? The public AT LARGE must know what you have to offer them. Anyway, I wish you continued success. I will contact you in the future to "report" on my experiences once again. I never thought I would be continuosly involved in an exchange of writing on a web site, but this is about something that is important to me, and the truth and effectiveness of your products, and your sincere and helpful knowledge leaves me no choice. Again, Thank you, for everything!
Matt C.
Marcos - I share your concern for the bees. I consider Honey one of Natures most perfect foods. It is also a wonder in treating the skin, both for the protection of the surface and for wounds. It is not common practice to use it for wounds any more but it was used for centuries as a 'healer' and was considered worth it's weight in gold.
It is a tremendous concern that our bees are diminishing. It was Albert Einstein that said "When the bees are gone - mankind will be gone in four years".
I hope that more people become involved in "Saving the Bees". I am grateful to Ed Begley, Jr., Joseph Gutwirth and Tim Matteson for giving us a forum where we can have people write in and voice their concerns.
We use honey in our products from a local beekeeper whose family has been providing honey to the public through four generations. These growers consider their bees as 'sacred' and treat them with love and care. They do not cut off the wings from the queen bee nor do they crush the bees to get the honey. They take great pride in being humane.
We have never said that we are VEGANS. WE do say that the products we sell to the public are from 'natural' sources. I don't think you can get more natural than honey - bee vomit or not. Our products are made with love and great care to offer the consumer the safest, most effective exfoliates on the market. Our primary concern IS for the consumer. I wouldn't put out anything that I thought (or knew) to be the least bit dangerous or toxic.
Francine
Hey Marcos,
Thanks for the tip on flexeffect. I looked into it and decided it is something I wiill try. I also ordered the Face of the Sea natural skin care products from Francine. I should have all in hand early next week. I think there is real help out there... perhaps we have found it in Francine and Deb! Thanks for sending your input to me... take good care and good luck!

Marcos - I am very glad you wrote to Matt C and to me. I am a long time devotee of exercise, for body and face. There have been quite a few professional people involved in using exercise to tone the muscles of the face. You and Deb have probably heard of M.J. Saffon, Robert Thee, Peter Kelder, Rachel Perry, and Carol Maggio, to name a few. All of them claimed that they could take years off your face, in just minutes a day. Saffron had it at 15 minutes a day and Robert Thee brought it all the way down to 5 minutes. I truly believe that facial exercise is important and I would be very much interestd in what Deb has come up with. Will you please send me some information?
Now, to the tape: I hate to disappoint you but men have, and do, use tape, just as women. I have personally known of an actor and a well-known politician who tape away their stress lines before an appearance. The S & P Company, in Dayton, Ohio makes what they call "Frownies" for lines in the face. I gave Matt C. options as to what he can do. It is up to each individual to take whatever action he or she decides. Since Matt C. says that he is active on the Hollywood scene, I gave him that choice.
I developed my skin care products to give people a choice between using ascorbic acid, Retin A and other irritating, and even dangerous products on their faces or to go with "Natural and Organic" Products I am an Esthetician and have seen the results of these "over the counter" products. The public can be fooled by seeing beautiful young women, with perfect skins, advertising products that they probably don't use.
I am passionate about producing safe, natural, organic products that actually help the skin. I am certain that you know exfoliation if extremely important, as it moisturizing. This is what Francine's Products is all about.
We aren't in the business to remove wrinkles. We are in business to remove 'dead' skin and keep the skin healthy by getting rid of deeply imbedded debris and sun damage, without using acids or invasive means. Of course, when we remove the dead skin it takes surface wrinkles with it. I have scores of testimonials to prove it. What's more important to me is that the skin is healthier after using our products.
It was really good to hear from you. I think that Deb and I, both, are doing really great things that will benefit all who turn to us for help.
Francine
I don't know if you read my biography, but I developed my skin care oine because of surgery on the left side of my face to remove a spider melanoma. I found no face cleansers that could help in my discomfort..... I don't want to repeat myself, but you can read about it on my web site or even on this site.
Hi Matt - Thank you for your question. Let me tell you that being vain is not a gender matter. Men as well as women find it rewarding to take care of their appearance. To compete in todays world it is more of a necessity, than a fad.
My first three rules are:
1st - Drink water throughout the day. Hydration is the number one beauty secret. (Exfoliating in the 2nd - but we will get to that in a moment.)
2nd rule is to avoid or repair sun damage. Always wear wraparound sunglasses in bright or hazy outdoor light.
3rd - This is the hardest. Try to get at least seven hours of sleep every night. So many of us can not do that and it shows. That alone will take a toll on the eyes. When our eyes are tired, we rub them and that breaks down the tissue and causes even more damage.
Now to some remedies:
When your eyes are really tired, take a glass of water, with ice - put in two spoons. When the spoons are cold, put the back of the spoon against the area around the eye. Do this with each eye. Repeat the process until you feel and look refreshed. If you have chamomile tea bags, keep them chilled and apply them when your eyes are tired, for 10-20 minutes. These are temporary measures.
Now to a more permanent technique.
The skin around your eyes, mouth and on the forhead will show laugh and frown lines. You need to exfoliate and moisturize these areas. Our skin becomes 'dead' and lifeless when exposed to the elements and then we get creases that become deeper and deeper making them harder to remove.
Once you have found an exfoliate that is safe to use around the eyes and a moisturizer that won't irritate, use them faithfully. You should start by using them morning and night until you are satisfied that they are lessening in appearance, then as needed.
Preventative measures would be to take a piece of surgical tape, as used in bandages, and place on the forhead and between the eyes. Then one on each temple, pulling toward the hairline. Do this before you sleep so that you won't 'scrunch' the side of your face, and eyes, while you sleep. You can also use tape at the corners of your mouth.
Try these suggestions and please advise me in a few weeks as to your progress. I wish you well. Suggested source of exfoliates and moisturizers is www.facefitness.com
Matt - It is nice to receive a reply. Thank you!
I will look froward to hearing from you in two weeks. I also want to mention to you that the exfoliates I created are the only ones on the market that you can put around the eyes. We have powder and cream exfoliates. I would suggest the powder. You mix it with water, making a creamy paste. Then spread it on with the brush that is supplied. You can safely use these exfoliates on crow's feet, laugh lines and on your eye lids. I know of no other product this safe. For certain, it is pure, natural and organic.
For more information and to view the products, please visit my web site: www.facefitness.com
Hi Francine,
I will make this short and to the point. THANK YOU!!!
...for your comments, suggestions, support and help... AND for offering such AMAZING products! I have continued to use your Day Lotion, Exfoliating powder, and the under eye cream... The result? my laugh lines have become more shallow and lessened, and there is a glow or vitality to my skin overall. I have received comments and compliments from those who know me, and I have given your web site info to 5 actresses and models here in L.A. I will share it with more as often as I can. I may even get my girlfriend to use your products instead of the much more expensive popular brand, la pureei I think it is. (I don't know!) Anyway, thanks again and again and again! I also like the info on the bees and honey. sounds like you have a great operation. Respectfully and Forever Yours,
MattC Studio City, CA
Hi Matt .
To know that you are experiencing truly good results and sharing them with us adds to the overall truth that "natural" is the way to go. Our only goal is to help people in maintaing and acheiving attractive, healthy skin.
I read an advertisement on this site about a cream that gives a 'face lift' in seven minutes. There are many such creams on the market. There is also an under eye cream, from a very well known company, that advertises "Instant smothness" and it works - but sometimes looks "pulled".
Let me tell you the side effect of these creams and lotions. When the ingredient that tightens and 'lifts' wears off or is washed off, the skin sags. In many cases the area is worse than before.
They are not nourishing the skin. They are not filling the skin with collegan or natural moisture. There are many who will pay the high selling price and then the price of 'sagging skin' after use.
If a person needs that 'tight' look for photographs, they can buy liquid sweetner, mix with a little water, and spread it over the wrinkles. They will diminish for a while.
I got carried away for a minute there - Let's get back to you.
I am very glad that the products are working for you and it is truly great that you take time to let me know. We are introducing a MEN'S LINE OF SKIN CARE CALLED FOS (For the Other Sex/ Face of the Sea)
The formulas are basically the same. The compostition is a little different to take into account that men have more hair and larger sweat glands. The product containers are larger, but easy to take to the gym.
We have been told by many guys that after a good workout and shower, men's skin, especially on the legs, tends to flake. We have a spray on our lotion bottle and is used directly on the skin before leaving the shower. It absorbs immediately, so it never seeps into garments. We also specialize in exfoliating powders and soap to rid the skin of imbedded pimples, etc.
Matt C. - Again, thank you for your update. It is truly appreciated. I have already heard from one of the young ladies you wrote about. Now, I hope that you can convince your girlfriend to try our products.
It is true that when we have to pay a high price for something, we automatically think it's superior.....and that certainly is not always the case.
OH, BY THE WAY - WE ARE NOW OFFERING OUR PRODUCTS IN BIO-DEGRADABLE AND RECYCLABLE CONTAINERS. WHAT YOU CAN'T RECYCLE - YOU CAN RETURN TO US FOR A DISCOUNT.
Stay well,
Francine
PS - There are exercises that you can do to increase the strength of the muscles of the face and neck. This will help in the 'lifting' of the skin. There are many companies - one that I recommend looking into is Flexeffect.com. The perfect combination is to have strong healthy muscles, covered with beautiful, healthy skin.
Hi Francine,
As you probably noticed, I ordered your natural exfoliator and the moisturizer from www.facefitness.com. I'm looking forward to receiving them. I also looked into the FlexEffect material posted by "Marcos". It was nice to see your response and input regarding his post. To hear your support of another professional in the same niche as you was great. I have read your biography and profile and I think you are a champion. I am ceratin you offer a very valuable and effective product line. I will definitely let you know what I think of them. Also, I see that you are beautiful woman. Perhaps you should also showcase your looks on your website and here. Then everyone can see how your research and developed products have obviously worked so well for you. Thanks again for your help and expertise!

Hello Matt C
I was informed that you had ordered from my product line. You will find the exfoliate works well in smoothing out the lines around the eyes. I was glad to see that you also ordered the Under Eye Cream. It is our most popular product. It is the one with honey in it and my customers swear by it. The next time you go into my web site please take a look at the Testimonials.
Thank you for the compliment on my appearance. The picture on this site was taken AFTER my first bout with facial cancer. As you have read, it was a spider melanoma and extensive. After I removed the scars and discoloration by exfoliating with my powder, my scars were very much lessened. A few years ago I had squeemous cancer removed. It was a filet of flesh 3" long and 2 mm deep. I have a picture taken a few months after that and I will try to put it on this forum.
My intense desire is to help those who have been scarred or who have sun damage that could become skin cancer. I feel so much for those who have to face themselves in the mirror that my web site is devoted to sending a percentage of our profits to "Smile Train" to help those who need Cleft Surgery. Of course, my products won't help them. Their conditions are far more serious, but the revenue from our proceeds will.
Matt - you sound very much like a young man who is determined to make the most of himself. You are kind in your approach and interest. I wish you well in your endeavors.
Francine

Dear Francine,
I am 34 years of age and feel that my "laugh lines" are somewhat advanced for my age. I have clowned and humored my way through life, and I think my happy lifestyle has caused me premature wrinkling! Can you provide me with a product that can help alleviate the lines around my eyes? I may be a bit vain for a man, but I am in the entertainment industry and we all know how unforgiving it can be! Thank you in advance for your expertise!
