CENSORING SCIENCE
A big point of this book is that global warming gets into a feed back loop. The more heat and ice melting the more sun enters and doesn't get reflected and so on making it speed up and hit a tipping point of no return.
Also just a few degrees can make water levels rise a few feet. If you live near the water , be warned.
It's amazing to think our free democratic government would change and stop pure facts ands science. Dr Hansen has to rick his job and future to get the truth out.

Great facts of how the actual science and facts of studies on global warming including actual temperatures were censored and the truth hidden or watered down.
There is no disagreement among true scientists that Global Warming is real and caused by man and the pollution we make. Only the government has tried to present opposing views.
A great book full of facts from many science groups and studies. One fact that really made me aware was there are 3 main gases that are causing global warming, we all are aware of carbon dioxide but just about as big are methane and CFC's. We have reduced the chlorofluorcabons but have increased the others so far, with no signs of stopping.

Calling it the "truth" don't make it the truth.
In fact the proponents of glowal warming are the least credible of the bunch.
My town Norwalk CT, Est 1653 is on the coast. At city hall I was looking at some old maps of the town, and how surprised would you think I was when I saw water features in the same location they were in more than 300 years ago?
Sure the minor islands have moved around. But they're sand-bars... The stone jettys and channel markers have been there for almost 100 years, some longer, and they look the same!
I do agree with the mention of 2 quasi-stable scenarios -- "Snowball Earth" and "Sauna Earth". Both are supported by the computer models, and both have occurred in the 4.5 billion years that planet has been around.
Have any of the GW 'scientists' considered the effects of the cubic miles of hot rocks (lava, magma) injected into the troposphere just by by the Hawaiian volcanoes? What about all the others?
Al Gore is an alarmist, and he's cried wolf too many times... Hopefully he'll get eaten pretty soon.
